Our advice relationship process
We’ve established a simple 5 step model to start achieving your financial goals with your financial planner as soon as possible. Take the first step and arrange your free financial planning consultation in Melbourne (or Australia-wide), it’s always the hardest and that’s why this one is on us.
1. Initial meeting
We take the time to get to know you; to understand your specific financial needs and objectives, challenges and opportunities. Meeting with us gives you the chance to learn about the firm, our people, and what we can offer in an obligation free setting.
2. Confirmation of goals
By communicating your goals to us, we can identify what you want to prioritise and what is of less importance. We agree on what work to undertake, what it will cost, and how long it may take to complete.
3. Identify solutions
Using our vast resources and experience we can identify solutions for each area of focus. We meet with you again to walk through each recommended solution. Through collaborative discussion we agree upon the right steps to your financial security.
4. Implementation of strategies

I'm a single parent working full time two hours away from home, so making appointments to do anything is pretty difficult. Time is something I don't have much of, so it's very important to me. Alex drove out to my place to meet me after 6.30pm on a weeknight, and I live two hours out of the city. He didn't just come in and show me some brochures and leave me to it. He stayed around, had a drink, worked around me doing the dinner-bath-bed routine with my kids, and didn't leave until he did everything he needed to do and got all the information he needed, to make sure that the job was done right.
